Understanding their customers and consumers is key to the growth plans of this leading international food & drink business. Working in a new role within the fast-expanding foodservice/out-of-home division, you’ll use your strong analytical skills to interrogate market and sales data – identifying issues, opportunities and trends and making recommendations for product category and channel strategies. This will include working closely with major data providers and agencies to ensure that date is on-time and accurate. Although much of the focus will be on continuous data, you will also brief out some ad-hoc studies, selecting agencies, managing debriefs and threading the findings into your thinking.
Our Ideal Candidate
Strong analytical skills, curiosity and commercial awareness are all key for this role. You’ll probably have worked within a major research agency or data house or on the client-side as a category or market analyst with experience of managing and analysing sales data within an FMCG or B2B environment; the key will be your ability to analyse the data and communicate findings and issues clearly and accurately. Although not essential, some experience of qualitative market research & planning would be valuable. In this challenging role, strong interpersonal and analytical skills are a must, as are strong influencing skills.
