Category Managers -  Up to £50k + bonus - Midlands                                                          

A well known UK brand requires a number of talented Category Managers to offer a wide range of products across one of the industries largest consumer and trade markets. With branches across the country, you will be working for the UK’s leading supplier in their field.

Experience required -

• Excellent product and marketing knowledge of category
• Experience of market research, intelligence and analysis
• Working knowledge of space planning and merchandising
• Working knowledge of product ranging (depth and width)
• Understanding use of marketing tools (literature, POS, promotions) to drive sales and margin
• Understanding of how pricing strategies are devised and implemented
• Knowledge of how to implement product and market performance processes

Personal skills -

Good communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Results driven  

You will have proven experience in a similar role where you have a proven understanding and application of the principles of Category Management.  Ultimately, you will be measured on category sales, market growth within the region and customer satisfaction.
